Checkpoint Racing was established in April of 2005.  A case of PBR and an email account inspired founders Mitchell Williams and Brian McGuire to open the FIA specialized shop.  Both founders have had many years of rally and race experience and found that the Denver race market consisted of primarly Domestic products and did not provide well for road racers or rally enthusiast.  It was the intent of the founders to build a race shop around European style racing and bridge the gap between domestic and import products.  The company has since grown over 400 percent in sales, size and inventory and remains strong as one of the largest regional race gear dealers and dedicated rally supply shops.  Checkpoint Racing is still located on the rim of downtown Denver and has since teamed up with Steve Bis and Brian Moody of Salta Motorsports to provide full race car preperation options.  We are Denvers one stop race shop.
